Leadership is seen as a mechanism by which one individual influences others towards community or organizational objectives. It is a mechanism of social impact, requiring voluntary action by followers and is often purposeful and targeted. Leadership is important and not the same as management, like strategy, organisation, hiring, management and management.
One of the first approaches to leadership is the principle of leadership that people are born with certain characteristics. The theory suggests people are born as leaders or not as leaders because the characteristics are generally regarded as part of the personality of a individual. The fundamental concept behind the theory of traits is that successful leaders are born, not created. The principle of characteristics was used in the 1930s, 1940s and 1950s. Studies looked at the essential link between individual traits and the assessment of the efficacy of leadership, in which individual physical, mental and social characteristics were examined.
