Gun has been a problem for a long time the United States. Gun control is the regulation of the sale, manufacture, ownership, modification of firearms by the government. Different countries have different gun control laws. Some countries have stricter gun control laws while some are less strict gun control laws than others. In United State, our gun control laws are lacking in general. Different states have different state’s gun control laws. Gun is easy to purchase in our country In California, you just need to get a license to have the privilege to purchase a gun.
Many of these guns are legally registered, but also many are illegally owned by citizens. There are legal guns where stores are selling at a very good price. Also, there are guns available for sell on the black market at cheap prices. United State had a long history with firearms. America is the most prominent gun possessing country in the world as of today. There are more than 300 million guns in the United States. Today, there are many different types of firearms available in the world. There are pistols, rifles, shotgun, machine gun and so much more.
Pistols are the most famous and favorable firearms. It can be easily concealed on someone’s body with high firepower and amazing accuracy. The technology of firearms is getting more advanced every day. There are guns that were thought to be the impossible decade ago. Citizens of the United States have a constitutional right to own a gun, which is the second amendment, which states that “A well-regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed”.
I believe that James Madison didn’t know that there will be automatic assault rifle when he wrote the second amendment. Gun-rights groups and Republicans argue that the blame shouldn’t be put on inanimate objects, but on the people pulling the trigger. Both sides dig in. And it seems that nothing changes”. Things must change for the good of the citizens of the United States.
We should have stricter gun control laws that include mandatory gun safety training in the United State because this will prevent many mass shootings, gun related crimes, accidents, and suicides. First, there are many of the mass shooting been happening in the United States. We need strict gun control laws to stop the mass shooting. The most recent mass shooting that I can remember is the Orlando nightclub shooting. The Orlando nightclub shooting happens on Sunday, June 12, 2016, in Orlando. There were 49 people died and 53 people wounded.
My heart is broken when I hear stories of the mass shooting like this happen in our country. Most of the guns that are used for mass were purchased legally in the stores. Many people are mentally unstable and shouldn’t be able to purchase a gun. It is so easy for these crazy killers to purchase a gun. It isn’t safe for other people when these people can own a gun. Many of mass shooting in the United States happens in school and public places. Schools should be a place where students go to get their education. Students should feel and be safe in school. School should be a place of drug and gun free zone. People who break these rules should face severe federal, state and local criminal penalties.

They don’t hide and lock their guns in a safe place. This is dangerous and even more when there is a child in the house. Gun owner should learn how to store their gun properly. Third, There are many gun accidents happen around the country. Many gun owners whose doesn’t know how to operate their gun properly. There have been many incidents where someone accidentally shot themselves and other. This is very dangerous for them and other people that are around them. Many of these incidents involved kids who accidentally shot themselves because gun owners don’t properly lock and hide their firearms in a lock safe.

People who are depressed about their life that own a gun are more like to commit suicide than those people who don’t own a gun. Half did so with guns. That’s not only more than the number of Americans who were killed in mass shootings, it’s more than the number of people who were killed with guns in homicides and accidents combined”. One of my customers shot and killed himself because his girlfriend and he got in a fight.
If he didn’t own a gun, everything would be different than him shooting himself. Most people choose to kill themselves with a gun because it is the fastest way. The rate of success when someone commits suicide with a gun is higher than someone commit suicide by cutting and poisoning. People are more likely to survive when they commit suicide by cutting and poisoning. When people try to kill themselves and survive regretted it, but when people commit suicide with a gun, it is hard to survive. More gun will lead to more gun involved suicide.
We don’t hear much about gun involved suicide as much as mass shooting and guns related homicides, but it is the time we talk about it. With suicide, a gun can’t get the blame for someone’s decision. When someone is determined to commit suicide, they could do it with or without the presence of a gun. There are many other ways for people to commit suicide. In conclusion, although gun can have the ability to save lives. Gun can be a good thing on the good hand, but it is still a dangerous and deadly weapon in the wrong hands. It is a fact that we have a big problem with guns in our country. We need a stricter gun control laws to prevent people from committing mass shootings, gun related crimes, accidents, and suicides.
Gun should be out of the hand of the wrong people. Psychologically disturbed people shouldn’t be able to own a gun. We need to make it harder for people to own a gun because not everyone should have the privilege to purchase a gun. People should be educated and train about guns before they can be able to purchase a gun. We need stricter criminal and mental health background check. United State should have strict gun control law against the regulation of the sale of guns. The truth is that not anyone is capable of owning a firearm.
