Early years of children’s learning are thought to make a big difference in their life-long growth and learning (Kim, 1999). Developmental psychologists have studied the role of parents and their impact on the development of children. However it is a fairly difficult task to establish a cause and effect connection between the actions of parents and their upbringing and their effects on the behavior and attitude of children. This can be seen as children, who share a home and are brought up in the same setting, can grow a strikingly different personality from each other under the same circumstances.

A parenting style is a psychological term focused on daily techniques that parents use when their children are being taught. There are various ideas and hypotheses on the right and safest ways to raise a child. Parenting plays a critical role in the education of a boy. Baumrind’s parenthood theory describes four distinctive parenting types and is complemented by a well-supported and coordinated production of ideas. All of these appear to cover various parenting strategies all over the world and contrast with the philosophy of Baumrind.
