Harriet Tubman is a woman of faith and integrity who by bravery and respect for God saved many African Americans. One should think about what pushes someone to add pain and misery to themselves, just to benefit others. Harriet Tubman was an African American woman who, as a suppressor, activist, and Union Spy during the civil war, played various positions in her day.
During these difficult days, her efforts not only saved lives but also inspired many African Americans to stand up for what they believe in and seek equality of rights for women in the world.
