Since human growth, battle has been an unavoidable part of human history. No fight will succeed without a good leader, regardless of the target. Alexander the Great was one of the greatest military leaders in history. Born in Pella on 20 July 356BC, he was a very powerful and intimidating young man and trained as a warrior (Farmer, 216). For twelve years Alexander fought in the Pearsian Gulf, in Egypt and in the Middle East, leaving a legacy of optimistic and long lasting impacts on the way of life.
In addition to his conquests, Alexander inherited the kingdom of his dad from Macedonia at the age of twenty and became one of the world’s youngest rulers. Because of his ability to inspire, lead and empower his troops, he wore many battles. His goal was to create a united kingdom, which during his time was not easy, but he succeeded in building a united kingdom.
