A cold is a contagious virus respiratory infection that mainly affects the nose. Because it mainly affects the nose, you all know that one feeling while you have a cold that’s in your nostrils. You know, the one where it feels like your nose is clogged up, and no matter how hard you blow on a tissue, nothing comes out, and the clogged up feeling is still there. Because of this, you can’t breathe as well and easily. The reasoning behind this is because of irritated blood vessels, and the irritated vessels can trigger a cold. Well, now you can say no more. My invention, Kryo Gripi, can easily solve this problem for anyone struggling.
Kryo Gripi is shaped like a tube so it can easily fit inside of your nostrils, and it is hollow on the inside so you can have an easier time breathing when you insert it into your nostril. It is also short so it doesn’t cause you to get ticklish and to lose your breath. Worried about the Kryo Gripi being the wrong temperature? The Kryo Gripi stays at a little above room- temperature, so that your nose isn’t too hot, but it isn’t also too cold. The reason it is above room- temperature is because according to some studies I did, a warm temperature can make a cold last a more shorter time.
Kryo Gripi has 2 models. Both of he models have the same features as listed before, but there are also some major physical changes that is unique to each version. The first model, which is the normal model, is coated on the outer layer with bristles so it can clean around the nostril. This model also allows you to spread a herbal nasal cream on the bristles so it can help your nose to clear up on the inside, and so it can help recover those irritated blood vessels. The next model excludes the bristles for anyone who is sensitive to the bristles.
Instead, this version comes with replaceable tissues that you cover the top of the tube with. Instead of above room- emperature heat like the previous models offers, this model already offers the heat from the tissue. Instead, there is that same herbal nasal cream scent that is on the tube. Even though both models look different, they work the exact same way. The first thing you do is insert the tube into your nostril to a point where you don’t feel like somebody is tickling you; however, I made this more easier by putting a tick mark on the bottom to where you should stick the tube into.
There will be at least two inches of the tube sticking out so that you can easily take it out. After you put the tube inside of your nostril, relax somewhere nd lay down on a comfortable surface for about 10-15 minutes. As you are relaxing, you will feel a little bit of pain, but don’t worry, that is a normal reaction that will happen. This is because the herbal nasal cream is having a reaction and is calming down those irritated vessels. When the time passes by, you have to take out the tube, and your nose will feel refreshed, and you will be able to breathe well.
One thing that might disgust you is that there will be snot around the bristles/ on the tissue. If you have the bristle model, you just put it over warm water, and dry it off with a warm cloth. This method will not only clean off the snot, but it will activate the tube’s warmness, so that the next time you use your Kryo Gripi, the tube would be warm. Now after explaining my product, I will be explaining to you about the symptoms, effects, and treatments of a cold. There are many ways that a single cold can be spread around and that you will eventually catch it because of it being spread around.
One easy way to catch a cold is when someone else sneezes or coughs without covering their mouth. Since their not covering their mouth or nose, the mucus and saliva can easily fly onto you without you even noticing. Another way you can catch a cold is when you touch everything, but you don’t wash your hands. Many germs are usually spread by touching things that might’ve been touched by other people, like door knobs or a product at a store, and the object might have a chance of containing a cold virus. You might not see it immediately, but there will be some symptoms you will get before you fully catch the cold.
One way, and usually the first way a cold begins, you can tell that you will be catching a cold is when your throat starts getting sore. The reasoning behind getting a sore throat before catching the cold s because you will catch a bacterial infection called “pharyngitis”. This is caused by toxins that were produced by the bacteria, and the toxins and bacteria start multiplying. Another symptom that you might get before you catch a cold is having a During the first couple of days, the runny nose will runny nose. produce clear and watery mucus, but as the cold gets worse, the mucus will start thickening up, and the mucus will turn darker.
The reasoning behind this is that your body will start producing more mucus so that it can try to keep out as many germs as possible from going into your lungs and into the rest of the ody. If the germs get into the rest of your body, you will get even more sick. One final symptom of a cold is constant coughing. You cough while you have a cold because when you cough, the coughs try to get out all the germy mucus out of your lungs. These coughs will usually be wet coughs. Colds can affect you in many ways. One unthinkable way a cold can affect you is by impacting on your mood, behavior, and mental functioning.
In order to prove that a cold can affect these things, research was done by a group of people to investigate not only to see if there was a mood change, but to also see if the old has affected objective matters of performance. The group gathered around 40 healthy people and around 160 people with colds to test this out. The results showed that people with a cold would have slower reaction times and reduced alertness. A common mood change that happens with a cold, according to research, is that you will probably have a more negative mood.
Research also might’ve shown that a cold might be able to weaken your memory speed. Another way a cold can affect is it can make you feel weak and ill. This only happens if your cold becomes more severe than it already is. Along with this, a light fever is also possible, but a fever is more uncommon towards adults. Children, however, are more likely to have a fever that comes with their cold. There isn’t really any way to almost instantly cure a cold, but there are some methods that will make you feel better. One way is by drinking warm liquids, or by being in a warm room.
Drinking warm liquids, such as tea, or being in an overall warm room might be soothing and can ease congestion by increasing mucus flow in your body and lungs. On the other hand, you can still drink liquids to relieve your cold. During a cold, staying hydrated is important. Drinking stuff, like water, can loosen up congestion and easily prevents dehydration; however, there are some drinks that you have to stay away from during a cold, as they can lead up to dehydration. You can also soothe your throat by gargling saltwater. Doing this can temporarily cure a sore throat.
One last way, and possibly the most easiest way, to relieve a cold is by resting. By resting, you will be able to let your body heal from the cold. A cold, like about most other illnesses, has a cycle. A cold usually takes place for about five days to a week . On day one and two of a cold, the symptoms of the cold start popping up. During the first two days, it is important to rest as much as possible to prevent fatigue and to also prevent making your cold worse. On the third through fifth days, the nasal symptoms will start developing, mainly on the third and fourth days.
Common coughing may start developing because of post-nasal dripping or because of a sore throat. On days six and seven, the symptoms of a cold start disappearing. This is the time of a cold where you start recovering, but some people might experience the cold for a longer time period, and the cold might become severe. If this happens, this will cause you to feel more dizzy and eak, and might be strong enough to get you ill. After your cold recovers, you might experience some more coughing, but this is because your cold might’ve irritated the upper airways because a post-nasal drip, and this makes your airways overly sensitive.
By using all this research, I can solve my problem, which is getting your nose clogged up, is by using some of the treatments I learned about. By learning about some of the treatments that can make you feel better while you have a cold, I learn more about how to make my product more effective, and make the user of my product feel more better while having their cold. The main method I used with my product is the method with the warm drinks and room.
As I learned more about that method, I found it to be the best method to use on my product, since it eases congestion and increases mucus flow in your body and lungs, and how my product takes place mainly in the nose, where it is mainly congested, can ease the mucus that is congested in the nose. I also had to learn about how a common cold could affect you, and where it can mostly affect you, so I can see where I can use my product mostly at. The main reason I did my invention and why I did research on this is because this s a problem I usually loathe, and I’m sure many other people agree with me, dealing with.
When I have a cold, I have a lot of trouble sleeping at night because I try to breathe, but my congested nose, of course, doesn’t allow me to sleep, and makes me feel like I never took a breath of air in my life. I think that my invention would help me deal with this problem, and that it would make an impact in the health industry. In my opinion, I would think that Kryo Gripi would help out tons of people feel better, and help them sleep during the night while dealing with a congested nose.
