Illegalizing Abortion Do you believe in abortion? I know I don’t. “Abortion is the premature exit of the products of conception (the fetus, fetal membranes, and placenta) from the uterus. It is the loss of a pregnancy and does not refer to why that pregnancy was lost” (Medical Net. com). Another reason abortion should be illegal is that the procedure can cause many health problems in the future for both the parent and the future children. I also believe by this saying “Every child is a wanted child. ” The health issues you should consider before you have an abortion could be permanent.
They can be dangerous for you and for your future child if you plan on having one. Having an abortion can also create mental health problems without the person even knowing. One of the things that people experience is denial, so they do not talk about and process, the normal feelings of anxiety, fear, shame, guilt and grief. The other reasons I think that abortions are wrong is that every child should be a wanted child. If you do not seek to be a parent of your unborn child then you shouldn’t have done the thing that got you there in the first place. You should have been a smart person and just say “no. It is always better to be safe than sorry. So by doing this you shouldn’t take it out on your unborn child by murdering it. I can understand if you were raped, but it still isn’t fair for the innocent child. There are alternatives in the world for you to consider. There is adoption that you can look into instead of abortion. Somewhere in the world someone can take in your child and love it for who it is and spend quality time with the child. Instead of you having to keep the baby and resent of who it is, and remembering the memories of how your blessed miracle has come to be.
