John Locke believed that the government was small. He said government should be like a contract; if the government abusses its position, citizens will overthrow the government. He also argued that people had the right to be heard. He said that people are born healthy. Everyone, regardless of gender, colour, religion, sex, etc., have the same rights as all others. I think John Locke supports Norman Rockwell’s painting, since white soldiers tend to defend a young, colored girl carrying notebooks and a ruler that I believe symbolizes education security for different races.
John Locke should respond that, since everyone is equal, nobody can hurt someone in terms of life, health or property. In response to events at Tiananmen Square, John Locke would suggest that nobody should be able to manipulate others. He says that people have the right to restore their original freedom and that the government should provide protection and security and not exert power over citizens. To order to balance a limited government and to protect human rights, fair laws will help control, balance powers and establish equality.
