This book is about a lady that has a son named ronald and has a mental problem. But their is a kid named vernon tha he deos stuff to that lady when he is with his friends. Until onne day he started to feel bad for tha lady and her son and he went and apologized, the crazy lady said that she knew vernons mother as they were talking and vernon became freinds with the crazy ladys mentally ill child named Ronald. The reason why Vrenon and his freinds called that lady crazy was because she was always drunk and acted crazy.
One day when Vernon hard that the crazy lady was going to get her son taken away he did every thing to try to help. Vernon was like a brother to Ronald. One time their was an event called the special olympics for mentally ill children. Ronald wanted to paticapate but he couldn’t becausehe had no sneaker and was poor, So Vernon had planned a block party and went through alot of stuff just for Ronald.
