On Saturday April 13, 2013 I was walking through the parking garage on the USAA campus in San Antonio, TX to start my 4 hour work shift, I began to go through the turnstile and seemingly startled awake a bat. This bat began to fly and squeal in fear. It darted at my head getting caught in my hair a couple times. I started to scream and flail my arms about trying to fend off the nocturnal flying mammal in fear. My life seemed to be going downhill faster than that bat that flew straight for my head. For about a year I lived in misery, living the life of a victim. Blaming everyone and everything for all that was going wrong with my life. I had lost what I thought was everything, my children, my home, my job and even stopped going to church. Then one day a friend of mine asked me to ride with her to a nearby town where her friend had just moved back from Dallas to. I reluctantly said yes and went on the hour drive to the middle of nowhere town.
