These are designed to make their audience feel comfortable and safe but in many cases, these are examples of false propaganda designed to make subtle implications and guide the viewer to an intended conclusion. It is happening all around us despite our not knowing it. Look at McDonalds, one of the largest food chains in the world, according to statista.com, there are well over 36,000 restaurants on the planet. It’s a wonder how something so bad and unhealthy could dominate fast food industries. It’s simple. Changingminds.org states that different colors have different psychological impacts. For example, red = fast, pink = love, orange = cheerfulness, yellow = attention grabbing/hunger, green = environment (notice lack of green in McDonalds advertising), blue = peace, purple = royalty, grey = intelligence, brown = confident, black = sophistication, and white = purity. Therefor the message McDonalds wishes to convey is fast food. Also these colors coincidentally match those of a stop light. This is suggesting that when you are stopped, you will think of McDonalds. These indirect suggestions happen at more serious places as well. Airports, for examples are infamous for their long and slow lines.
