The blood flow ceased, and history recorded a fatal event. King Duncan has shown to be the most trusted noble in recent years, with ten years of service. He is a decent and Godly individual who sympathizes with the poor and fights for them, but he has been taken from the people of Scotland.
All because of Macbeth, a man who was once Duncan’s most trusted thane. A few months ago, Macbeth and his close friend Banquo were out riding when they ran into some weird sisters. These hags prophesied that Macbeth would one day be king, and Banquo’s sons would be kings after him. At first Macbeth laughed the prophecy off, but it soon began to eat away at him. The more he thought about it, the more he wanted it to be true.
So when King Duncan came to visit Macbeth’s castle, Macbeth saw his opportunity. He killed Duncan in his sleep, framing Duncan’s chamberlain for the murder. When Duncan’s sons fled the country, Macbeth became king.
But Macbeth’s guilt soon began to catch up with him. He became paranoid and suspicious of everyone around him, even his closest friends. His wife, Lady Macbeth, was the only one who could calm him down. But as Macbeth’s grip on the throne grew weaker, Lady Macbeth began to lose her mind. She started sleepwalking and talking in her sleep, and eventually she committed suicide.
