What I learned from my past educational experience, is to be organized and be ready for anything. All throughout high school, I took many college courses, and online courses. The college courses we very tough. Since they were college courses, they were a little more advanced than to what I was used to.
The online courses were a little different because it was at my own pace. I had to be organized and make sure that I did not fall behind. My teacher for my college courses, Mrs. Horton, she was amazing. She would always help me if I ever needed it and she would make sure that everyone in the class understood what we were doing. Education is very important, and I am so happy that I had the opportunity to get a head start on my future.
Education is something that can never be taken away from you. It is knowledge that you have forever. I am so grateful for all the educational experiences that I have had. They have made me who I am today.
In the classes, I would forget my work and what was going on in the room. We were given an assignment (3-page essay) about ourselves as an example. During my first two years of high school, I was extremely shy. That was another issue that I had to deal with in my life. Because I didn’t know myself well, it was hard for me to communicate with others, which led to a lot of anxiety and social awkwardness. Things improved when I started getting involved in leadership roles and activities outside of school. It forced me to open up more and talk to people, which helped me become more confident.
So, I had to get help from my friends and family. They were the ones who helped me understand myself more.Eventually, I was able to graduate from high school. And now, I am currently attending college. Education is very important to me, and it has helped me grow as a person. Education has made me more confident, and has given me the opportunity to meet new people. Education has also helped me become more independent. I am very grateful for my educational experience, and I would not trade it for anything in the world.
I grew introverted, quiet in class, and anti-social. That all changed my senior year. It allowed me to speak out more, attend events, and improve as a person since I am an ambassador at my school (North Edgecombe High School). It was one specific occasion that altered my life for the better.
It was a mock job interview. I had to fill out an application and everything. This showed me how bad my grammar was, how unprofessional I sounded, and made me want to change for the better. Education is very important to me now. I even want to become a teacher one day so that I can help people like me who may have gone through the same thing I did. Education has definitely been a big part of my life and has helped me grow as a person.
Education has also allowed me to meet new people, learn new things, and experience different cultures. I have been very fortunate to have had some great teachers who have taught me so much. I am grateful for all the education I have received and hope to continue learning throughout my life.
The Teach For America Event occurred. Teachers from all around the world came to my school to learn how to become a better teacher and motivate their students more at the event. All of the student ambassadors, including myself, were required to be present throughout the event. At the start of the event, I and another ambassador had to open it up by telling them about our new purpose and vision statement, which the student ambassadors wrote.
After we were done speaking, all the teachers and staff members applauded us, and we got a lot of compliments from them. After the event was over, I felt really proud of myself because I was able to help out and make a difference. Education is something that is really important to me, and I want to be able to help out in any way possible.
I have always loved going to school, and learning new things. My favorite part of school is when we do hands-on activities, because I feel like I learn best by doing. One of my favorite projects that we did in class was when we had to design and build a model of a cell. I loved seeing how all the different parts of the cell worked together, and I was really proud of my finished product.
I think that it is so important for everyone to have a good education. Education is something that can never be taken away from you, and it is something that you can use your whole life. I am so grateful for all the opportunities that my education has given me, and I am excited to see what the future holds.
I was really afraid, but I did a wonderful job explaining the event to everyone. This event has made me a better person. Now, I am more sociable and outgoing than ever before. Because it demonstrated to me that I could be true to myself and if I believe that I can complete anything, then I can and will.
