Jar Jar Binks Sith Theory Analysis Essay

With the seventh installment of Star Wars coming this month | figured it would make a good topic. This video talks about a popular new conspiracy theory where the character Jar Jar Binks was supposed to become the Sith lord instead of Palpatine. It makes some very convincing points. The clumsy character seems to find his way into some very powerful positions. This might have happened due to control of the force. Clips from the video show him flicking his wrists and while talking to lead characters.

These conversations happened at crucial times during the film, and they all ended in the sith’s favor. The creator of the video believes he is using Jedi mind trick to sway the plot in his favor. The creator of the video also noted that George Lucas was too timid to maintain this plot after Jar Jar Binks received much negative criticism after episode one. While I have my doubts about this conspiracy theory, it makes some very clear points. Jar Jar Binks seemingly has his hands over many of the key moments of the plot.

I still don’t believe that such a popular series of movies would make such an awkward character the all-powerful villain. I may be corrected if the Jar Jar Binks makes an appearance in episode seven. Star Wars the Force Awakens Trailer While not entirely sure what to watch, I kept the same theme. The trailer for episode seven of Star Wars looks tremendous. The special effects have taken another leap, as they did between the first two trilogies. Everybody, including my generation enjoyed the original trilogy the most.

This makes me very excited to see that story line be continued with the improved special effects. Seeing the X-wing in 1080p nearly blew my mind. Part of the original cast is back as Harrison Ford returns as Han Solo. The story seems to be on the path of another jedi comeback, while a new sith master tries to finish what had happened in the previous trilogy. The empire seems to have control again, as the rebel alliance fights back. I don’t think I will be able to watch the film in theatres for a while as tickets are sold out in Grand Forks for over three days.

I believe this trailer was had a large part in their successful ticket sales. A combination of updated special effects with the feel of the original trilogy is bringing back fans of all ages. Overall the trailer gave me a positive impression and I look forward to seeing the film in it’s entirety. Why the Dad Bod is Worse than Ebola While the title may sound inappropriate, the video makes no references to Ebola. The video is uploaded by a channel who creates parody videos about weight lifting. The creator takes a biased and seemingly jealous standpoint on the dad bod craze.

He believes that women should be attracted to men who spend their time doing bicep curls and drinking protein shakes. His depicts the dab bod as a heavy set twenty year old with boat shoes and their dads debit card. He believes women are attracted to this body type for two reasons. He believes women don’t like the pressure of having a significant other that is more attractive than themselves. Also he believes women will have the upper hand in that relationship, and that they like the control. While I can catch the sarcasm in the video, I believe the theories are quite ridiculous.

I don’t think women consciously are attracted to men who they can control. He takes the article written about the dad bod out of context. In wasn’t meant to compare slightly larger than average males with bodybuilders. It just explained reasons why the dad bod became significant part of pop culture. Dad bod is in no way worse than ebola. Introducing Avatar Nutrition – Huge Flexible Dieting Project This video is a promotion for a new automated nutrition coach system. It’s put out by Dr. Layne Norton who is a competitive bodybuilder and powerlifter.

His doctorate is focused around nutrition and exercise physiology. The automated nutrition coach system is based upon the popular diet system known as macro tracking or flexible dieting. This diet is focused less upon restrictions and more upon hitting recommended values of macronutrient and micronutrients. This automated system is advertised to provide specific ranges for these recommended ach customer will receive their macro’s updated weekly based upon a number of factors. It’s goal is to reduce the cost of flexible dieting coaching, making it more accessible to consumers.

I believe this promotion was successful. The program seems very logical and at a price point of ten dollars per dollars per month can’t be beat. The creator is very credible in his profession and has had many other successful product releases. After a short three minute video, I want to know more about the product. If further research into the product were to confirm what the video depicts, I would strongly consider giving the product a try. We’ve covered marketing to a target audience in class, this is video is a strong example. Dear Kobe

With Kobe Bryant’s recent retirement announcement, the Philadelphia 76ers decided to release a video in his honor. The video compares his play on the basketball court to the city of Philadelphia. The video recognized his tenacity, grit, and desire to be a champion and compared it favorably to the city. It claims that Kobe Bryant changed the game for the last twenty years and caused the city heartbreak when Kobe’s Lakers defeated the 76ers in the NBA Finals. This video was created for publicity reasons. The Philadelphia 76ers and the Los Angeles Lakers are two of the worst teams in the NBA this year.

The Philadelphia organization is using a future hall of famer’s retirement announcement to try and sell tickets for a team that nearly broke the record for longest losing streak. I don’t like the idea of every team honoring a retiring sports legend. I feel like it takes some of the competitive grit away from the game. I feel this happened when Derek Jeter announced his retirement as well. Teams honored him before away games and gave him easy to hit pitches just for the publicity. While nobody wants to see extraordinary athletes retire, teams shouldn’t be honoring players that aren’t a part of their organization.
