Those who are Pro-choice support abortion and want it to be legal. The Pro-life group Is In favor of abortion being Illegal. The opposition of these two groups Is a large Issue In every election. Every president takes a stance on the Issue and It Is one of the subjects that attracts a lot of attention.
The three main reasons that abortion should be banned in America are that it compounds tragedy, it harms women, and it takes the life of an innocent human being. Proponents of the legalization of abortion use rape or birth defects as a valid excuse for this horrendous act. Although rape Is a tragic and terrible act, the killing of an unborn child Is not going to erase the rape. Why should a child with a full life ahead of them be sentenced to death for their parent’s mistake? If a woman does not want the child there are other options rather than ending a brand new life.
The Oman has the opportunity to let the child live and put it up for adoption and at least give the child a chance at having a life. The excuse that the child has a birth defect and the parents do not want to raise it is a pathetic reason to end a life. That child is still a human being and those parents are being Irresponsible and selfish by aborting the fetus. Ending that child’s life Is not a cure for the birth defect. Adoption or some sort of special foster home is still a better path for the child than death.

Abortion can harm a woman physically and emotionally. Many women who get abortions are scarred for life and can never forget the fact that they killed their own child. Abortion does not just go away after the baby is gone. It stays with the woman forever, especially emotionally. The act of destroying a fetus is a terrible act and is done in a horrifying way. Although they are unprepared to raise a child, they are far more unprepared to live with the abortion of their baby for the rest of their lives.

In the event that an unwanted pregnancy does happen, by rape or birth defect or Just accident, do not get an abortion; seek help and when people seek help they find that there are many paths to take that are more satisfying and can lead to a much better life than abortion.
