What Is abortion? In my words is a new generation’s way of shrugging off responsibility of their action at the cost of human life. Abortion is one of the most controversial topics of all times. The fight between pro-life and pro-choice supporters has been long and brutal. This is because, despite what several people may believe, abortion is neither right nor wrong. It Is the matter of a personal opinion, and mine is wrong. At the root of the occurrence of so many abortions Is the Inability of Individuals In society to take responsibility for their actions.
Women do have a chance to choose! However, the choice Is whether to have sex or not. Although, not every occurrence of sex produces a child, It Is known that pregnancy Is a potential consequence of sex. 93% of all abortions occur for social reasons. Like they say don’t do the crime If you don’t have the time. Everyone Is raised knowing the difference between right and wrong. Murder Is wrong, so why Isn’t abortion? Some argue that It is not murder if the child is unborn. On the contrary abortion is murder since the fetus that is being destroyed is living, breathing and moving.
Why is it that if an infant is destroyed a month before the birth, there is no problem, but if killed a month after birth, this is inhumane murder? It is morally and strategically foolish, because the middle is lost when talking about reproductive rights without reference too larger moral and spiritual dimension. Abortion has always been an extremely controversial issue. There are, and will probably always be many different views concerning infanticide. In the debate between pro-choice and pro-life I consider myself taking side in pre-life.
Pro-choice argues that it’s a woman’s right yet if the woman is giving life to a soon to be woman hen why not let her decide as well and have a say? Im arguing about the infanticides happening due to one’s choice not about the ones happening because of rape or incest but even then adoption is an option. To my conclusion, abortion is an inhumane practice. This to my view makes woman look selfish and irresponsible. If the choice of abortion is taken into consideration because of rape or incest you’d have to be in there shoes to Judge them. I am pro-choice In the matter of it being their choice.
